One of the most common questions I get as a Minneapolis brand photographer is: “When is the best time to book brand photos?”

While there are a lot of great answers, one of the best times is during a rebrand or website redesign.

That’s exactly when Anne reached out.

She was in the middle of a full rebrand for her skincare business, with her new visual identity nearly complete and her website design already underway. At that stage, the only thing missing was updated, cohesive imagery to bring everything together.

I was so excited when Alissa reached out! She owns the local children’s brand Pacifier Kids, with four stores across the Twin Cities and a strong online presence. Alissa was struggling to keep up with the ongoing need for fresh marketing content—her inventory changes constantly with holidays, events, and seasonal releases that all need to be showcased to customers. Her goal was a curated, consistent look across her Instagram feed and marketing channels, showcasing the fun, intentionality, and personality of her small-owned business. Challenge accepted!

I’ve had the honor of capturing brand photos for Kristen before, and I was so excited when we got to create an updated set. Kristen is the owner and lead designer at White Loft Creative, a boutique design firm working with new and established businesses on branding, product design, and marketing collateral. Since our first session, Kristen became a mother of two, a change that has shaped her life and added beautiful new layers to her business. She wanted updated images that reflected this evolution, including her connection with a new niche of clients—mompreneurs.
